| June 01,2005 | Well.
School is over. Buttons was a giant success ( literally) and now Im itchin'
for something new to do. Since my living space hasnt been cleaned in the
last 5 months it has gotten pretty bad so tomorrow I will probably not
work and work on cleanin' up the room. Trying to get rid of a lot of stuff
but it seems most of it is related to some sort of craft or art so I cant
bare to. Might make a stop to Ikea on Friday and pick up a sewing table
to attach to my wall and shelving units to organize my shtuff. Its Spring
cleaning! Or something. Buttons is open to the public tomorrow at the Plastics museum so Im totally going to go visit him and take 500 photos. I already have the best idea ever for my next project. Art Center here I come... MAYBE! I want them to pay me to go there, I dont like the idea of debt. I also applied for a tour of FIDM here in San Diego, now if only they would call back. Last time I requested information they hounded me for months! but now that I actually want something they seem to be lagging hmmm. Im hoping that if I stay in SD to go to FIDM I can get some affordable housing in the South/North park area. I really love it around there and am keeping my eye out for a steal. Just need a little bit more income though :-( But hopefully that will change soon when I get my Kiln. But first I need to clean my room out! rar. Then organize, art, sell, make millions. Yeah, that works. |

| May 23, 2005 | So when I said I would update this thing, I lied. So I have been a tad bit busy. Im sure you all were at the edge of your seat waiting for an update. Checking everyday, every HOUR you reloaded just wishing, hoping, Id update. WELL WAIT NO LONGER! So school is almost out for the semester and ive had a fantastic buttload
of fun and learned so many things that will help me in the future. I
abandoned the idea of going to Art Center at the beginning of the year
but now, now I want to apply just to see if I have what it takes. Taking
this sculpture class has opened my head to a whole new medium of expression.
And all that sock monkeying has paid off! After the success of Orvil
the Monster and researching some modern artists, I learned that
fabric is a very acceptable medium to play with. And that is where I
currently am now. In my livingroom sits the half-filled body of Buttons
the 15 foot tall sock monkey. Hold on to the seat of your pants folks! |

| Feb 10, 2005 | Here is my skull.
He doesn’t have a name yet. He also doesn’t have teeth. I
like working on my skull. We have good times together. my claymate wanted
a photo of her skull but forgot her digital camera. It just so happened
that I had mine at the time so I photoed her skull, and snapped one of
mine as I worked on it. I am going to go post my resume on craigslist in hopes of finding a fantastic job that doesn’t involve rewinding videos. Or cleaning any fecal materials. |

| Feb 09, 2005 | Can we end this
year right now and start over with a completely different script. Let’s
do. Things are quite difficult at the moment and are in drastic need of
change. That is about all I can offer. This month Hailey and I took an almost fantastic fun trip to San Francisco to visit my sister. It was loads of fun except for getting annoyingly sick. I think the best time was had when we had our sock monkey party. I will definitely be posting photos of that on the monkey page in the near future. I also have a great idea for my sock monkeys. I am planning. Oh how I am planning…. I also started school last week. Not sure if I will love it or hate it. My first class is fun. I already have made friends at my table and the hours whiz by. We are sculpting skulls. Did you know that is kinda hard? It’s also annoying. So tonight when you are lying in bed pondering your deep thoughts, just hold your head with your hands for a little while and think, man, its really funky looking under all this skin. My second class is proving to be a pain. First off, it is right after lunch, and second, the teacher’s voice puts me into this deep trance and I CANT not fall asleep. I have already fallen asleep in 2 of the classes (we have only had 3) Last class I was sitting there with my elbows on my knees just PRYING my eyes open with my fingers. It didn’t work. Also all the advanced kids are in theses clicks where they only talk to each other, and the ones in my level are about 80 years old and don’t speak English. So the 3 hour class turns into a 59593 hour class. Blah. |

| Dec 24, 2004 | Sweet apple pie
have I been busy! It’s the day before Christmas and I feel like
Im forgetting something. OH WELL! So this week has been pretty fulfilling.
Went to a Christmas party at the Omni hotel where Hailey works. Then I
FINALLY saw phantom of the Opera woot woot! I absolutely loooooved it.
I was all into it until I had to pee really really bad in the middle of
it. But that always happens to me in movies. Im not sure if Justin liked
it though, he kept looking at the time. And whenever a big singing number
was about to come up he would drop his head and sigh. It was kinda long,
but I still LOVED IT. Is it too early to ask for it on DVD for Christmas?
Last night my homies and I traded presents and I got the BEST GIFT EVER! It’s a tiny table top crane machine!!! That’s right, CRANE MACHINE! I can hardly contain myself. Oh the hours we will share together… I have already named him frank. I was worried about haileys gift. I made her a doll of her favorite singer john mayer. It turned out insane looking (it will be up in the crafts section soon) but hailey loved it and kissed it regardless ? |

Funny
thing. Well, not SO funny, but funny situation. So you know that dog I
was going to be dog sitting? Little Miss Elmo pookie-pie as so affectionately
called by her owners? Yeah well, she DIED this morning, so Hailey and
I no longer have that cash for our trip. Dag nab it. I’m kinda relieved
it fell through though These people were anal with their orders and demands.
I’m just glad it didn’t happen while we were dog sitting because
then I think I would have fled the country by the time they got back.
Apparently Hailey’s mom has a lead on another person who needs animal
watching, so hopefully that works. Today I wrapped all the gifts I had. Finally this god awful collection of JUNK in my room will be GONE. Bags, paper, scraps, its all over and it is driving me insane. I can’t wait until after Christmas to go crazy and get rid of lots of junk I own. Uuum… Um… what else…. I helped my aunt steal like 10 pieces of chicken today at hometown buffet! Fun times! |

Today it was
foggy. Hailey and I took a gig house sitting these rich peoples dog. Its
crazy insane, they live in Coronado and have a boat tied up on their doc…
in the BACK YARD! The dog is this little small black and white thing that
takes like $50 worth of medicine a day. I am going to be deathly afraid
to touch ANYTHING in that house. Or. Really even breathe in there at all.
But It is $25 a DAY so we will do it. Ya’seeee here, this is the plan: Hailey has this seminar she really wants to go to that is in San Francisco right? Well I thought, duh, let’s just take the money from this dog sitting and go on a mini vacation. We checked on tickets, and if we buy them now, we can get them $80 round trip. Go up on a Thursday night, leave on a Monday night, and be back in time to miss no school. With the left over money from the dog sitting that we didn’t use on the tickets, we can use on food and fun things around SF when she isn’t in the seminar. I think it should be fun. On a side note, my back hurts a lot. |

Christmas
is a comin’ and the geese are getting fat, please put a penny in
an old man’s hat, if you haven’t got a penny then a HAY penny
will DO if you haven’t got a hay-penny then Good Bless yooou gentlemen
la la la.
Ah. The smell of a Bonanza Christmas. Went to LA few days ago with the Hailester and the Juster.
We hung out at the mall before the taping of Jimmy Kimmel (you know the
one with that Chinese theater thingy). We ate at this place called Johnny
Rockets, and the COOLEST thing was on every table there were these cute
little Juke Boxes. Like old school style. So being the dork that I am
I put money in it and pretended to pick a song… and GASP it PLAYED!
All the little radios were attached to play on the overhead. How COOL
is that? |

Stargate enterprise
mission number 34226. Sergeant, what is status of the ship? Well captain,
everything is A OKAY! WeeeeHOooooo I just successfully sent out my first
mailing list thingy to a total of SEVEN people. Niiiice eh? Funny how no
one in my family is signed up for it except for my sister Michelle. Maybe
it is because she is leeched onto a computer 99% of the day or something.
I bet she is rolling her eyes now. Hi Michelle! Tomorrow I head to LA to see a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show. Ive never been to a show taping before. And now that I think about it… I have never even seen this show… hmmm… there is probably a reason for that. Because it probably sucks. Im hungry. Im going to go eat MEAT. The end! |
| Dec 5, 2004 | Today I spent a buttload of time re-doing the
monkey page. I guess I have been busy working and christmas gearing up that
I have been neglecting it. aw. poor page. On the fun side, this friday I hung out with hailey while she stalked her favorite singer John Mayer. After about 3 and a half hours of waiting, he finally showed up and was a great person and signed her poster. I was so happy for her. We also took a few photos that I posted in my Photo bucket Album that you can see right here. What is on tap for the rest of this week? finish wrapping presents, go to LA with Hailey (yet again another John Mayer stalking event) and hmm... I think I smell another comic coming.... |
